Questions, answered.
What exactly do I get in a Cadence Report?
A monthly country read: the executive summary, macro context, the music-led mood read, attention and intent movers, category playbooks, creative palette and sync notes — and a methodology appendix where every number names its source and date.
Is this prediction?
No, and we are unusually direct about this. Music charts are a validated mood proxy (our validation is published), but we pre-registered whether the signal predicts demand and tested it four times — a country-level forecast, a brand/category backtest, a powered nowcast across France and Germany, and a re-test on domestic-only songs. All four failed; on the broader outcome, adding music made the forecast worse. We published every result with the pre-registration and the code. So Cadence is a descriptive read — where attention, mood and watching are moving now — not a forecast. A predictive tier would reopen only on a future pre-registered pass.
Where does the data come from?
Streaming charts (Spotify), Netflix Top 10 with genre and origin via Wikidata (CC0), Google Trends search-intent, Wikipedia pageviews, GDELT news tone and thematic weather (GKG themes — what coverage is about, and how it’s shifting), the Google Ads Transparency Center for brand advertising activity, and official macro statistics (Eurostat). All behavioural, public or official — no survey panels. Every figure names its source and date.
What is the Cadence Skill?
A Claude Skill, MCP server, and prompt packs that put the country dataset inside your own LLM. Subscribers download it from the Account page and query the data in their own tools.
Which countries are covered?
France is live now as the flagship edition. Germany and Japan chart histories are already in hand, the UK is next, and 25+ markets are mapped for rollout. We turn on a market when its full signal stack is collected and checked — not before, so a published edition always means real coverage.
Can I get a refund?
One-off reports: full refund within 14 days if it didn’t earn its keep, no questions. Subscriptions: cancel any time, effective at the end of the billing period.
